Kudoh, what's up? Hopper1 wouldn't let me touch Smaphone for anything, it was weird.

[There's a pause, as it occurs to him to actually check his previous messages.

Rinne may want to speak up before he gets back to her.]

So Ichinose... Hopper1 was just really insistent you focused on the test before using Smaphone again.

[It was sweet Hopper1 was looking out for Hotaro's grades, in it's own unique way.]

Speaking of which, how did it go? You remembered to study right?

Yeah! I feel I did better on this test than the last ones.

[Look, he knows his rep, but he's doing his best to get better! He's just not sure yet if his teachers agree.]

AHEAD OF THEM, what's theorized by Professor Kyoka to be the latest base for Geryon and the Abyssalis Sisters. ALSO THERE are possibly more Golden Malgams, along with Spanner, who has been missing.

THEM: Houtaro, Rinne, their seniors, and Professor Kyoka. Professor Minato is AWOL and may or may not be working with Geryon.

ALSO THEM: ... A startlingly large number of Chemies.

Anything else to consider, before we roll action?]

This could be a diverging timeline of it's own maybe? Hard to say since the canon is still going

[Houtaro couldn't say for sure which Chemies came out of their cards first - they were supposed to be avoiding notice as they crept up on Geryon's hideout, but their chosen location sure felt crowded.]

[They hadn't wanted him to go first unless Geryon showed himself directly, and the planning had gotten pretty complex beyond that. Everyone had something to do.]
