MEMES?!?
[This is a catchall post for memes for
Autistic_Ace's characters.
Current list of memes: Relationship Questions;
Truth Meme;
Texts From Last Night and General Texting;
Two Truths and a Lie;
Carnival/Fun of the Fair;
Denny's (which apparently does delivery now! Order-in?);
Words; Hurt/Comfort;
Lap Pillow;
Rescue Meme;
Train to the Afterlife Meme (which can ALSO double as a rescue meme, heh, especially for CRAU.)
Hurt/Comfort Meme, for kicks;
Wal-Mart;
Hygge;
If smut ( ahem ) feels like an option for a character/CR, then go ahead and ask! May require an AU/ageing up of some sort, but I digress.
Please specify a meme when tagging a character's respective toplevel - then we can go from there!]

She's controlling Dread again.
It's been a while since they last fought, typically its either Clotho or Lachesis he goes up against. Back when Lachesis wasn't on their side anyways.
But despite her looks Atropos is the oldest of the three, if anything she is the sister to take the most seriously in combat.
Not like you shouldn't take the other two seriously... but that's not the point.He takes note of the chemies as he launches himself at Atropos, ready to strike.]
no subject
There's no particular pattern to the Replichemies she uses, though he'd better take note when she pulls out the one for DeepMariner.
Behind them, the various crowding Chemies start trying to coordinate, to take down the barrier and intervene.
With a flash of a red ring, however, Spanner may also be surprised to see Minato.]

Spanner keeps his eye out on DeepMariner, remembering his battle with the original one months ago. Atropos definitely has some sort of plan brewing, so he's on high alert.
As a familiar flash of red begins to shine, he would know that from anywhere.]
Senpai!
no subject
DeepMariner's effect, even as a repliChemy, allows her to 'swim' underground. It is a pity Geryon wanted to keep a closer eye on their captured Ancient Chemies for this fight; she's already imagining certain useful combinations...
Never mind that.
Above, Minato uses his ring to phase through Atropos' barrier... leaving the Chemies on the other side, to their collective dismay.
He's trying to convey something without speaking: I need plausible deniability, if I am to help you here.
He's supposed to be helping Geryon - but that doesn't mean he'll do just anything for his former mentor.
What he says, mind:]
You should not have come here, Spanner. Did you at least come alone?
[The fact that there's a group attack on the base is obvious, but the real question is: did Spanner let anyone follow him?]
no subject
It would be unwise to mention the rest of the group, especially in front of Atropos. He's sure they can guess that he actually isn't alone anyways. But it would be best to not give Atropos any early confirmation of this.]
It's just me.
[Literally, and in the sense that he ran off without anyone following him. As far as he knows to the best of his knowledge, nobody else knows where he's at.
If Minato was on their side he could already feel the talk he'd get from him about this. Especially for doing something so dangerous. But it has been difficult to not succumb to his raw emotions over Geryon having killed his parents. Spanner desperately wants to avenge them. Especially with the new power they had given him.
Despite differing sides, he trusts Minato enough to read between the lines.
He wouldn't say no to his help if he can do so safely.]
no subject
Minato bursts into action, using alchemy to lasso Spanner - on the one hand, Atropos can't drown him, but Spanner's still going to be fairly immobile.
Shouting comes from beyond the barrier, and under their feet the building itself rumbles.]
no subject
Spanner trusts Minato's actions, and going along with getting lassoed. His movements may be greatly restricted but it saves him from being in a much worse position.
Despite the current circumstances of their positions, Spanner is always appreciative of his senpai helping him from the other side.
Just then he hears the shouting, and then feels the rumbling of the building underneath him.]
What the hell was that?
no subject
So you did come here with someone! ... It is fortunate you went off on your own, however.
For you.
[Again, she lunges, firing with RepliBambamboo. If she hits him, or if she hits the lasso, either works for her.
Minato frantically checks behind him, but there are no other Riders approaching this corridor.]
no subject
His options are quite limited at the moment due to the restricted movement. So he opts to take the defensive approach for the time being, dodging whatever bullets come his way.
Some hit him, but he's able to dodge an amount where in the end he hasn't taken too much damage. But he needs to be careful, this tactic won't do him much good forever.]
no subject
Hopefully he has a counter for the danger the floor represents...?
Atropos, meanwhile, has her own problems; whatever's got the building upheaving has sent cracks all the way to the roof now!]
Minato-kun; we are taking him with us.
[A few choice emotions flash across the man's face - but he ultimately runs forward to grab Spanner by the hand.]
no subject
Those expressions, they were genuine.
That's what his gut tells him.
But what happened that's causing all these cracks? That's something Spanner will have to worry about later though.
He takes Minato's hand and runs off with him.]
no subject
And, naturally, they all gather around Spanner - until Atropos grabs one of the cards.]
This way, we will both have a hostage.
[She explains, looking pointedly at Minato. He does his best to remain stoic.
As they run, it becomes clear that something's triggered an actual earthquake - both a strong one, and an extremely local one.]
no subject
Spanner may see them as tools but he has the decency to care if they're taken! It's not beneficial for him and the others, and the chemies, if thats the case.
He continues to play hostage to keep Atropos from getting suspicious.
As they continue running, Spanner wonders just what's causing this earthquake. Is it a chemy? Geryon? Something else entirely?
Only time will tell.]
no subject
As they get far enough from the building to see, there is a Malgam.
Renkingrobo, by the looks of it. And it's... quite large. Atropos sighs.]
Clotho. Pushing her limits again.
[Minato's not even remotely sure how to react to this one.]
no subject
He has the gut feeling she might be unstable from how she's pushing her limits...
Meanwhile he remains stoic to not raise suspicions, continuing to go along with the situation he's currently in.]
no subject
Minato. Leave Spanner with me.
[She detransforms, giving Minato the DreaDriver instead. It is perhaps obvious what Geryon has been warning his eldest about...]
I am more than capable of keeping our hostage subdued.
[Especially when there's no reason she can't transmute a Chemy with her own Malice.
Minato again has to keep his feelings internal - but he looks at Spanner nevertheless, before accepting the Driver.]
no subject
But Spanner understands the situation he's in.
He just wonders how things will fare once Minato gets with the others, no doubt having to fight them.
Or at least feign fighting them for the sake of keeping a low profile.
In the meantime he will have to make do with this situation. Carefully observe everything to see if he can find a way to escape Atropos.]
no subject
The Chemy she's grabbed - Gutsshovel - protests, only for her to glare it down.
She hasn't tried to mind control a Chemy, independent of just using it for a Malgam form... but that doesn't mean she's not capable.]
no subject
Spanner just keeps up the pace and follows where she goes. Stoic and silent.
Though he can't help but wonder just what the hell is going on at the other side of the base, presumably where that shaking came from earlier.
And also he ponders about what will become of Minato-senpai and the others once he gets to them...]
